All-solid-state thin-film lithium-ion batteries simply means that all components in the battery structure exist in solid-state form, while today’s traditional commercial lithium-ion batteries are liquid lithium-ion batteries, that is, the electrolyte is a liquid solution. Specifically, it is to replace the liquid electrolyte and diaphragm of traditional lithium-ion batteries with solid electrolytes, generally using lithium metal as the negative electrode, but also graphite and other composite materials.
