Research Description

A solar cell is a semiconductor component that can efficiently absorb solar energy and convert it into electrical energy. A device that converts the sun's light energy into electrical energy using semiconductor silicon, selenium and other materials. It has the advantages of high reliability, long life and high conversion efficiency, and can be used as power supply for artificial satellites, beacon lights, transistor radios, etc. The size of the single cell ranges from 1 × 1 cm to 15.6 × 15.6 cm, and the output power is tens of megawatts to several watts. Its theoretical photoelectric conversion efficiency is over 25%, and it has actually reached over 22%.
